Who we are
APMG Limited, the authorised BAIC dealer in Hong Kong, operates this website and is the data user for personal data collected through it.
Purpose of collection
We collect personal data submitted through this website's forms in order to respond to enquiries and test-drive booking requests for the BAIC B30e.
What we collect
Through the enquiry and test-drive forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number, model of interest, your message, and — for test-drive requests — the showroom you choose and a preferred date.
Fields marked * are required to submit the form; without them we cannot respond to your enquiry. All other fields are optional.
How we use your data
We use your data to respond to your enquiry or booking.
When you submit a form we also record the date and time, your browser type, and a one-way (hashed) version of your IP address to prevent abuse; the anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes your IP address.
Direct marketing
If you tick the optional marketing box when submitting a form, we may use your name, email address and phone number to send you direct marketing about BAIC vehicle news, offers and events. We will only do this with your consent under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Part VIA, and you can withdraw that consent at any time, free of charge, by contacting us.
Who may see your data
Your data may be seen by BAIC Hong Kong's own staff handling enquiries, and by the service providers this website depends on to operate — including the email service provider used to deliver messages to them, and this website's hosting, content-delivery (CDN) and security providers. Those providers may process or store your data outside Hong Kong. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to access that data, and to request correction of any data that is inaccurate.
